Event Types: Social Gatherings
Sometimes we get together with our fellow Chesapeake Region members just for the fellowship... and to enjoy good food.
Our Summer Membership Picnic is held at an open pavilion in the Patapsco State Park near Elkridge, Maryland. We enjoy delicious catered food, and a variety of member-donated side dishes and desserts.
Following our meal, we hold an interesting auction of member-donated items. Anything goes! The items can be automobile-related; household related; food or anything else legal that might attract a bid. All proceeds go to the Club.
No one leaves our November Membership Banquet hungry! We gather at Friendly Farms Restaurant in Baltimore County for a delicious dinner featuring big crab cakes and fried chicken. Salads, side dishes and desserts complete the meal.
Following the feast, we conduct a program, announcing the Club officers for the upcoming year and recognizing the Club members who have made outstanding contributions to the success of Chesapeake Region over the past year.
