2020 Annual Membership Banquet
On Sunday November 8th, Chesapeake Region held its annual Membership Banquet at the Friendly Farm Restaurant in Upperco, Maryland. Capping a most unusual year, you could tell from the small number of antique cars on the parking lot that this was not going to be our typical well-attended year end event -- due to the effects of the 2020 pandemic.
Year 2020 was the 65th anniversary of our AACA Region and the ceremonial anniversary cake at our Banquet was carefuly iced with an image of the beautiful anniversary logo designed by member Darren Fox that was used on our website and in our newsletter.
For social distancing considerations, only six persons were seated at each table. At table #1 were seated Chesapeake Region President Paula Ruby and husband Gary, AACA President Jim Elliott and wife Donna and AACA Vice President Wayne Tuck and wife Denise.

Our Chesapeake Region's 65th year will soon be history but we are looking forward to celebrating our 66th anniversary, just as we had planned to celebrate our 65th -- with an Eastern Shore Boat Excursion & Crab Feast. Many other Chesapeake Region activities will be planned for year 2021. Keep watching the newsletter and website activity calendars.
