2021 Halloween Poker Run
With some delicious morning snacks and drinks at the home of club president Paula Ruby, our year 2021 Halloween Fall Poker Run began.
From the "Starter" location every team received their Driver/Navigator Instructions, their Directions/Questions Sheet, and their first Poker Card.
With all those items in hand, the many participants were off for a day of adventure, searching for the answers to clues among the winding back roads of Maryland.
After searching for 31 clues along the way - we made our first stop.
Then, continuing on, searching for 16 more clues - the second stop.
Then, back on the road, searching for 16 more clues until the third stop.
And finally, after searching for 25 more clues, we made the last stop for lunch.
Here, at the Manchester Volunteer Fire Company facility, we were all treated to a great lunch catered by Mission BBQ.
It was a "Halloween" Poker Run this year and participants were invited to wear costumes.

Our 2021 Poker Run organizer: Al, runs through the correct answers to the 81 clues we searched for.
The winning team members, with the greatest number of correct clue answers, are congratulated.
The Fall Poker Run continues to be one of our most popular events -- but it involves considerable time to plan and develop. We thank our club members Al Zimmermann and Nancy Mattheu for their volunteered time to develop our 2021 event.
