2022 Tour of the New AACA Headquarters and Library
On Wednesday, March 23, members travelled to Hershey, Pennsylvania to visit the new AACA Headquarters and Library, plus the nearby Antique Automobile Museum.
This was the inaugural activity planned by our new Social Chairman: Judy Dawson.
We were immediately draw to the collection of books and display of memorabilia on the library shelves.
We all gathered around as Library Director Chris Ritter welcomed us and gave us a nice overview of the library history and its collections.
And what immediately caught the eye of member Phil was this "Woodie Box" on the display shelf. Phil is the owner of a beautiful 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline "Woodie."
The shelves of books on all type of car makes attracted our members interest.
Club historian Chip found something that immediately attracted his interest as Michelle and Al look on also.
The Young brothers, Tom and John find something interesting on the shelves - most likely Mopar!
At the lower level of the Headquarters is a nice display area for some amazing antique vehicles.
The vehicles displayed will be changed periodically to keep things fresh.

Our AACA Headquarters tour was conducted by Paula Ruby, our six-term Chesapeake Region ex-President and current AACA Vice President of Membership. Joining us before we departed for lunch was AACA Chief Executive Officer Steve Moskowitz.
Steve welcomed us to the AACA Headquarters and gave a brief overview of the amazing process and effort that made it a reality.
I'm sure we all left with a deeper appreciation for the new facility and those involved in its creation.
